The works of the series Filmspace resulted from the montage of up to 300 frames extracted from films of Godard, Hitchcock or Kubrick.
Pan shots as well as tracking shots and zoom techniques or combinations are used for the work.
The techniques used for the production of the works are exactly those having been also used for the production of the film - cutting and montage. By this, the creation of the works represents a process of deconstruction and construction.
When transferring the scene into one picture the dimension of time gets lost. However, a serial structure in the picture remains, which implies a chronological order as well as a narrative moment.
